Young Latino Philanthropist Initiative

Investing in Social Change — We are proud to report that our Young Latino Philanthropist (YLP) Initiative is in full swing. January 1 marked the closing of our first round of grant submissions. Our leadership team, comprised of "millenials" 18-35 years old, has learned a lot about grant making. They are eager to hear about the work happening in the community. Look for our announcement of grantees in March.

Growing our Leadership Team — YLP will be growing our leadership team this year! We are in the process of adding new talent, skills, energy and passion to this initiative. If you are interested in being part of the leadership team, please contact us for an application.

We are officially launching our YLP Network for people 35 and under. For a small investment of $50 per year, YLP network members will be invited to our quarterly events, take part in the grantmaking process for 2015, and meet other young people while learning how to advance philanthropy in our community. Those who contributed to YLP in 2014, will be included in our network for 2015!  Spread the word to your professional groups and student organizations.  2015 will be the year YLP helps to usher in big changes in Colorado!
